Pixels At The Speed Of Light: Warehouse Mural At TDC
In July 2017, I was asked by TDC (Technical Direction Company) to design and paint a mural for their warehouse.
Their focus is on lighting, projection and all those big-screens you see at festivals etc. The brief for the mural was something that incorporated “light” as well as something kindass badass that represents their brand… and after showing them a couple sketches, they got excited by a skeleton on a motorcycle. The box (shown on the sketch) is where they wanted to mount a big oldschool projector.
Being a warehouse full of projectors, they set me up a massive projector with the design loaded. And with a remote-control I could turn it off and on as needed. We also attached a couple GoPros around the room and also got a bit of a timelapse.
