An original hand-painted canvas, TOUGH DAY IN HELL.

Hand-painted at LICK STUDIOS in Marrickville, with premium paints and materials. The canvas itself is a beautiful 326gsm, Belle Arti / 569 Fine Italian Cotton stretched canvas. Painted with heavy-bodied acrylic paints and a light matte varnish applied to clear-seal it. Long story short; this is the good stuff and will last a lifetime.

80 x 100cm. 
Framed with a floating raw oak wooden frame (and 5mm shadow-gap).

I love this one. This stoic, tired but powerful fella just having a moment. He sighs as the ice in his negroni clinks against the glass. Plooms of toxic smoke vaporise the horizon. And this sunburnt vintage colour pallette makes me happy. 

Subtly signed bottom-right, but also comes with a certificate of authenticity. This painting has lots of underlayers and has lots of subtle layers of texture. It deliberately feels handmade and has an aged, earthy charm to it.
